"It's only week two but this great result will allow us to approach upcoming challenges at our best," declared the no.87 to Inter Channel

ROME – “It’s always hard to come and play here, you have to suffer. We faced a great team and to get a result coming from behind wasn’t easy. We deserved this brilliant win.” That was what Antonio Candreva had to say to Inter Channel after the win at the Stadio Olimpico on matchday two.

“After what happened last season, we looked ourselves in the eye and  told ourselves what had to change. The road is still long but this result allows us to approach the international break calmly so that we can go again in the right way for the return of the season at San Siro.”

“I believe that it was an important message as we said who we are, how we’ve changed and that we’re a team. But, it’s only the second round of fixtures and we have to add consistency to our results. However, these two wins give us a sense of enthusiasm so that we can approach coming challenges at our best.”
