Icardi's record, Perisic set for 100 Serie A appearances, Cancelo and Brozovic top for the number of balls played: Stats with Opta for Sunday's match

MILAN - There have been 147 previous meetings between the Granata and Nerazzurri. Together with Opta, here are the stats and pieces of trivia ahead of Sunday’s match at 12:30 CEST.

Inter have won 65 times (48 draws, 34 defeats) overall and scored in 17 of the last 19 Serie A matches against Torino while also keeping nine clean sheets. Torino and Inter have faced off twice already at 12:30 in Serie A with Inter winning in 2015 and the reverse fixture ended as a draw. Inter have only lost one of the last ten lunchtime kick-offs in Serie A. Overall, the record stands at five wins, four draws (including the last match against Torino) and one defeat. Inter haven’t conceded in the last five league matches, the last time that the side reached six consecutive clean sheets was in November 1979.

Mauro Icardi has levelled his record number of goals in a single Serie A season (24 goals). In the last three games away from the Stadio Meazza in Serie A, he’s scored five goals.

Marcelo Brozovic made the most touches of the ball in the 30th round of Serie A fixtures (124) and the rearranged 27th round (139).

Joao Cancelo plays the ball 101 times on average every 90 minutes. Among defenders who’ve played at least 1,000 minutes, only Mario Rui has done so more this season.

The next match will be the 100th in Serie A for both Salvatore Sirigu and Ivan Perisic

Antonio Candreva has scored three goals against Torino in Serie A, including his first brace in the top flight which came in April 2014 for Lazio. Danilo D’Ambrosio played 116 times for Torino in Serie A and B, scoring ten goals. Nicolas Burdisso spent five seasons at Inter between 2004 and 2009, making 93 appearances and scoring four goals in Serie A. Joel Obi represented Inter 50 times in Serie A and scored once. Cristian Ansaldi played 21 times for Inter last season. Ljajic featured in 25 matches for Inter during the 2015-16 season, scoring three goals. Inter’s second and third goalkeepers both spent time at Torino, meaning there are seven players who played for both clubs in the fixture.

Luciano Spalletti hasn’t lost to a Mazzarri side in Serie A since October 2006. His record stands at four wins and one draw (Sampdoria vs. Roma, March 2009, their last meeting). Six Nerazzurri players are a booking away from suspension and they are:  Brozovic, Candreva, D'Ambrosio, Éder, Perisic and Ranocchia.
