The Primavera Coach to Inter TV after the PSV match: "It was tough mentally but we're improving. It's important that we continue down this road"

EINDHOVEN - Following the 2-1 defeat away at PSV, Armando Madonna looked back on the match with Inter TV. "It’s a shame because we didn’t deserve to lose today," he began. "Apart from the opening minutes, the team did well to take the lead and control the tempo of the match. We lacked the ruthlessness to find the second goal and in the end, we were punished for two of our mistakes. It’s hard mentally but I saw my players manage the game well and show a positive and determined attitude today."

"We’re disappointed also because of the injury suffered by Gabriele Zappa late on which meant we were a man down. However, my guys did well overall today. For me, it was important to work on attitude and I was satisfied by what was shown on the pitch. We need to continue down this road to improve and do well in the league. The results will then follow," concluded Madonna.
