Inter Women's captain to Inter TV: "We’ve got some difficult games coming up, but we take it game by game and always try to do our best"

MILAN – Last weekend, Inter consolidated their position at the top of the league after beating Milan Ladies 2-0, with the team yet to concede a goal in the league. Now a huge game is on the horizon for Inter Women: the first Milan derby in the history of Women’s football (9/12 at 13:30 CET at the Suning Youth Development Centre) at the Round of 16 stage of the Coppa Italia.

Regina Baresi spoke to Inter TV about the progress of the team and their next match: "In our last game, we gave our all and managed to get three very important points. We’ve won all our matches, and the most difficult thing is maintaining those high standards. We’ve got some difficult games coming up, but we take it game by game and always try to do our best.

As regards the first derby against Milan, Beresi had this to say: "It’s going to be a special feeling, especially wearing the captain’s armband for the occasion. It gives us the opportunity to test ourselves against a very strong team. Watching the Milan derby has always been special for me: it will be a privilege to play in it, and we’ll give 300%."
