In collaboration with Opta, here are all the statistics for our matchday 21 encounter

MILAN - Ahead of our matchday 22 encounter and the first Nerazzurri away match of 2019, we’ve teamed up with Opta to provide you with all the stats and trivia for Sunday’s fixture.

This will be meeting No.150 between Torino and Inter in Serie A, with the Nerazzurri securing 65 wins to the Granata’s 35 – there have also been 49 draws. Inter have recently kept three consecutive clean sheets for the second time in Serie A this season. They have not recorded four in a row since April 2018, when they then achieved a run of a five.

Inter have scored 14 goals away from home this season, 13 of which were inside the penalty area. The only one from outside was that of Brozovic against Lazio. Out of the top five European leagues, Inter have conceded the fewest goals in the first half of matches (two). Furthermore, no other team apart from Cagliari has scored more goals from crosses in Serie A this season (both level on 10).

Radja Nainggolan, who is one away from his 300th Serie A appearance, has played a part in four goals in his last three Serie A matches vs. Torino (three assists and one goal). Mauro Icardi has not scored in his last four matches in Serie A, and this game could see him equal his longest streak without scoring in the league for the Nerazzurri: five games from September to October in 2014. Icardi has also not found the back of the net in nine of his 11 appearances against Torino in Serie A. Only against Napoli has he made more appearances without scoring in the league (11). As for Matteo Politano, he has yet to score against either Torino or Chievo in Serie A, despite making his most appearances against both these two sides (seven).

However, Politano has regained possession in the opposition’s final third more than anyone else this season (22). Samir Handanovic has so far kept 11 clean sheets in Serie A, with only Liverpool’s Alisson recording more (13) in Europe’s top five divisions. Ivan Perisic, who scored in his last match vs. Torino (last August), this campaign has a league average of a goal every 438 minutes and an assist every 657 minutes. This is the highest average during a single season since he signed for the Nerazzurri.

Danilo D’Ambrosio made a total of 119 league appearances for Torino, coming in both Serie A and B, during which he scored 10 goals. Daniele Padelli also made 100 Serie A appearances between the sticks for Torino. Stefan de Vrij’s only Inter goal game during our last Serie A fixture vs. Torino. Keita has played a part in four of Inter’s last six league goals (three goals and one assist), while Marcelo Brozovic has won the most tackles in Serie A this season (45).
