MILAN - Inter will soon be back in action at the Meazza, taking on Lazio in the Coppa Italia quarter-finals. In collaboration with Opta, here are all the stats and trivia for the match.

Inter and Lazio have played each other 16 times in the Coppa Italia, with a record that includes six wins for the Nerazzurri and five for the Biancocelesti. There have also been five draws. Inter lost their last Coppa Italia encounter against Lazio in January 2017, which followed a previous unbeaten run of five matches (two wins, three draws). Inter and Lazio will be facing off in what will be their seventh quarter-final clash in the Coppa Italia. The Nerazzurri have progressed on four occasions, while Lazio have triumphed in two (including the most recent in 2016-17)

Inter lost both their first (May 1961) and last home match (January 2017) in the Coppa Italia against Lazio, both coming in the quarter-finals. The Nerazzurri were then unbeaten in the six matches in between (three wins, three draws).

Lautaro Martínez has started six matches in all competitions this season, playing an active part in five goals (four goals and one assist). This includes his brace against Benevento in the Coppa Italia.

Mauro Icardi has played Lazio 11 times in Serie A and scored seven goals, including two braces and a strike in our recent league match at the Olimpico. From seven shots on target, Mauro Icardi has scored on six occasions against Lazio in the league.

Marcelo Brozovic’s last Coppa Italia goal came in our most recent cup match against Lazio on 31 January 2017, however, this wasn’t enough to keep the Nerazzurri in the competition (2-1 to the Biancocelesti). Marcelo Brozovic has made the most passes in Serie A this season (1481).

Radja Nainggolan has played Lazio on 16 occasions in Serie A, with the Belgian getting on the scoresheet twice. Meanwhile, he’s also come on as a substitute in five of his last seven league games, which is the same amount as from his previous 122 matches in Serie A.
