Primavera TIM Cup: Quotes from Madonna and Roric ahead of Inter vs. Fiorentina

APPIANO GENTILE –Armando Madonna, the Coach of Inter’s Under-19 side, and midfielder Maj Roric spoke to Inter TV on the eve of the first leg of Inter vs. Fiorentina in the semi-final of the Primavera TIM Cup, a match which is set to kick off tomorrow at 15:00 CET at the Stadio Breda.

Armando Madonna: "During this period, we’ve been able to work a lot. The team are doing well, and we want to continue on the path we’ve taken. This two-legged affair against Fiorentina is something that means a lot to us: we want to reach the final. There are many games to prepare for, we have many players at our disposal and will be ready for them. Fiorentina are a solid team and have managed to gain consistency in terms of their results and the team they put out. At the same time, my lads are growing, and we need to maintain the correct attitude. There are difficult moments in every match, you just need to know how to deal with them and also how to create the right conditions to win."

Maj Roric: "Two great games are in store against Fiorentina, although they will be difficult. Nevertheless, we’ll be ready for them. It’ll be balanced, with every game being separate and the recent past not counting for anything. As has always been the case, we’ll give our all so as to honour the shirt that we wear and get a positive result. We’ve played a lot of matches recently, and our objective is to continue to do well."
