SANTA CROCE SULL'ARNO - Following Inter’s 2-0 win over the Rappresentativa Serie D XI, RiccardoBurgio and RyanNolan joined U19 Coach ArmandoMadonna in speaking to Inter TV following their quarter-final progression:

Armando Madonna - “We’re really pleased with the result because it wasn’t an easy match. There was plenty of wind and the Rappresentativa Serie D side shown great physicality. We’ve got several absentees away on international duty and also sone injuries. However, I saw both determination and a good temperament from my players. The team keeps growing and we don’t want to stop.”

Riccardo Burgio - “The conditions weren’t favourable but we managed to impose ourselves physically and also qualify in the process. Fitness-wise, we’re doing really well. The Viareggio is an important competition and it’s a useful platform to show our skills. The aim to keep growing and getting wins to make sure that we honour the shirt that we wear.”

Ryan Nolan - “It was my first goal of the season. I’m very pleased and let’s hope that we can keep winning. The Primavera has a solid squad and can do well despite absentees. We’ve also demonstrated this by winning this competition last season. It’s crucial to recover our energy to make sure that we can continue along this path in the best way possible.”
