All the key facts ahead of Wednesday 21:00 CEST kick-off at the Ferraris

MILAN - At 21:00 CEST on Wednesday, Inter will take on Genoa at the Stadio Ferraris on matchday 30 in Serie A TIM. In collaboration with Opta, here are all the facts and figures ahead of our trip to Liguria.

This will be meeting No.104 between Inter and Genoa in Serie A. The Nerazzurri have so far registered 52 previous wins to the Rossoblu’s 22. The last 11 league matches have alternated between home wins for Inter and Genoa respectively. The Nerazzurri won this season’s earlier meeting 5-0. The last draws between the two took place in 2012-13, finishing 1-1 at San Siro and 0-0 at the Ferraris.

During five previous Wednesday meetings between Genoa and Inter in Serie A, the Rossoblu have won one on just one occasion (two draws, two defeats). Genoa are unbeaten in their last four league games at home (two wins, two draws), not conceding in their last two. They have not kept three successive clean sheets at home since February 2016. The Rossoblu have lost two of their last three league matches (one victory): which is as many defeats as from their previous 10 Serie A matches (three wins, five defeats).

Genoa have conceded the highest number of first-half goals this season (57 percent). Meanwhile, apart from Parma (30 percent), Inter have conceded the fewest number of goals during the first 45 minutes of matches (32 percent). Inter’s last seven Serie A goals have been scored by different players, while 35 percent of Inter’s goals this season have been scored in the final 15 minutes of matches (15/43), which is a record during this Serie A campaign.

Genoa have lost four of their last six league matches against teams currently in the top four - contrasted by one win and a draw against Juventus.

Marcelo Brozovic scored his first Serie A double against Genoa, coming back in December 2016 during a 2-0 win at San Siro. Roberto Gagliardini’s sole Serie A brace was during this season’s earlier clash against Genoa. The Inter midfielder also registered his first Serie A assist against the Rossoblu, dating back to his spell with Atalanta in October 2016. Inter’s last eight goals against Genoa in Serie A have been bagged by different players. Nevertheless, Joao Mario has played a part in six of these (five assists and one goal).

Luciano Spalletti has won eight of his previous 11 Serie A matches against Genoa.
