The Coach during his pre-match press conference: "We come into this game on the back of good performances, we adhere strongly to our beliefs"

APPIANO GENTILE – Luciano Spalletti spoke to the press today ahead of tomorrow’s big fixture against Juventus at the Meazza. This is what he had to say: "We always try to implement our idea of football, both my idea and the idea of the players. We try to keep the ball and play in the opposition’s half, but at the same time we also need to stay in shape so we don’t leave any space to get hit on the counterattack. In the recent matches we’ve played, the team have produced excellent performances both home and away without exception. We strongly adhere to these beliefs, and we’ll try to put them into practice tomorrow. It’s a very important match. Tomorrow is the day of the game, but it’s a match that is played all year round."

Five games before the end of the season, gaining points is becoming more and more important: "We’ve still got important results to pick up, there isn’t a lot between the sides in our league. A number of teams have got better, an indication of the fact that always giving your all can make the difference. We still need results because the teams behind us could win all of their games. Therefore, we need to continue to work hard."

Finally, he talked about individuals and the team’s preparations: "Lautaro? He's developed naturally on the basis of the many qualities he has. Everyone is available for tomorrow, and they’ve all trained really well. Brozovic? He’s a player who always looks to move the ball and looks to do it in a continuous fashion. He has these characteristics, but I expect everybody to produce something strong when it comes to both quality and creativity."
