Candreva: "We're ready to play a big part this season"

APPIANOGENTILE - The start of the Serie A season is just around the corner with the match against Lecce at 20:45 CEST on Monday coming up (ticket information here). Antonio Candreva spoke to SportMediaset ahead of the fixture about how he feels. “We can’t wait to start, we’re preparing at our best for the Lecce match.”

“With Antonio Conte , I’ve already worked with him for two years when he was the Italy Coach. I’ve found him to be even more motivated, he has great enthusiasm and the usual desire to improve and work. His arrival has been something very positive for us, I have a very good working relationship with him and I know that he can help the team and all of the players to improve.”

The fans are ready for the start of the campaign with around 60,000 expected to be at San Siro for Inter vs. Lecce. “The enthusiasm and affection from the Nerazzurri fans has always been great, they’ve always supported us and in the most difficult times too.”
