The start of a new campaign against racism in football, aimed at promoting unity and integration

GLASGOW - United in defending diversity. Seven of the biggest Clubs in Europe, from countries all over the continent, all met at the Ibrox Stadium in Glasgow for the launch of the campaign “Show Racism the Red Card”. The campaign was started to raise awareness on the theme of integration among children, adults and professional footballers. The Chelsea FC Foundation, Werder Bremen, the Rangers Charity Foundation, the Club Brugge Foundation, the Brentford FC Community Sports Trust, Fundacao Benfica, Show Racism the Red Card the Netherlands and the European Football for Development Network (EFDN) all took part in the first meeting of the campaign which is set to last 24 months.

The involvement of Inter Campus can’t be ignored, an organisation who have always stood up to all forms of discrimination and are happy to be sharing in this new path for those who believe in the social power that sport can have. The project, co-financed by the European Union, will include communication schemes as well as talks held at schools and at grassroots clubs.

Brothers of Europe and brothers of the world, all universally united by the Nerazzurri colours.
