Brozovic, Lazaro, Lukaku and Esposito all secured qualification with wins. Skriniar also involved.

MILAN - Five Nerazzurri players were involved in international fixtures on Saturday 16 November.

Marcelo Brozovic's Croatia claimed an important win over his Inter teammate Milan Skriniar's Slovakia. A 3-1 comeback win at the Stadion Rujevica in Rijeka allowed Zlatko Dalic's team to seal qualification for EURO 2020. Both of the Nerazzurri players started and remained on for the whole of the match.

Romelu Lukaku's Belgium also won in a EURO 2020 qualifier. The striker played for 77 minutes away in Russia and scored Belgium's fourth goal.

Valentino Lazaro's Austria achieved the same landmark with him playing 79 minutes of their 2-1 win over North Macedonia. The Netherlands also wrapped up qualification with Ronald Koeman leaving Stefan De Vrij to rest in their goalless draw against Northern Ireland.

Sebastiano Esposito scored and won again, opening the scoring for the Italy Under-19s from the spot as they beat Cyprus, a result that secured qualification for the Elite Round of EURO 2020 with a match to spare.
