He taught with his feet, with his temperament and also through his words. The Dragon’s flames are imprinted on Inter’s history, his spectacular goals will never be forgotten. Pride in fighting until the last and his warm heart drove him on as he took his first steps at the Nerazzurri and scored his first goal for the Club in a game as important as the #DerbyMilano. And then there was his cool head. He was focused on one objective: helping the team achieve victory.

And victories were certainly not at a premium for Deki during the 326 matches he played for the Nerazzurri. His incredible career saw him win the Scudetto (x5), the Champions League (x1), the Club World Cup (x1), the Coppa Italia (x4) and the Supercoppa Italiana (x4).

A fighting spirit, sacrifice, commitment, magnificent technical ability and pride: all of these characteristics ultimately led to him being inducted into FC Internazionale Milano’s Hall of Fame.
