An incredible Inter at the Stadio Breda as Mulattieri’s hat-trick and goals from Fonseca and Ntube dispatched Napoli

SESTO SAN GIOVANNI - A superb Inter performance on matchday 18 of the Primavera 1 TIM division saw the Nerazzurri take home all three points with an emphatic 5-0 win over Napoli. Samuele Mulattieri was the star of the show after a splendid hat-trick, while Fonseca and Ntube both got their names on the scoresheet in the today’s hearty success.

Inter began with great determination as they broke through after just eight minutes of play: Mulattieri slotting home with a deft finish to make it 1-0. Armando Madonna’s boys then picked up the pace as they scored again eight minutes later, but this time Kinkoue’s goal was ruled out due to Attys’ offside interference. Mulattieri continued to threaten, kept out only by the crossbar in the 21st minute, and Schirò came close to scoring just minutes later as Daniele came up with a good save. Ntube placed his effort from the following corner just wide, and then Fonseca rattled the woodwork yet again. However, Napoli couldn’t hold out forever, and Inter’s deserved second arrived just before the break as Mulattieri headed home a perfect ball in from Persyn.

The Nerazzurri made it three at the beginning of the second half as Fonseca found the net with his right foot following a scramble in the area. The Nerazzurri continued to be the dominant side, with Daniele doing well to keep out Gnonto’s left-footed effort in the 62nd minute. With 75 minutes on the clock, Mulattieri completed his hat-trick with a fantastic strike which flew into the net from outside the box. Inter’s No.9 was then replaced by Satriano, the youngster coming on for his Nerazzurri debut. With the match coming to an end, Boscolo Chio hit the post – the third time that Madonna’s team had seen an effort come off the woodwork – and Ntube rounded off the scoring. Inter thus ran out 5-0 winners and recorded their second consecutive league win after last week’s victory in Florence.
