Three Inter goals for the win against Torino: numbers, stats and facts

MILAN - Inter's win against Torino was signed for by Young, Godín and Lautaro Martínez. Three goals which reflect some interesting stats for the Nerazzurri and also, most importantly, move Conte's squad up into second place in the table.

HEADED GOALS Diego Godín scored his first goal for the Club on his 19th appearance in Serie A. Obviously, it was a headed goal, which is certainly the Uruguayan's specialty. It's also Inter's 16th headed goal so far this season; no other side in Serie A has scored as many.

19 DIFFERENT GOALSCORERS THIS SEASON Godín became the Nerazzurri's 19th different goalscorer this season. 18 Inter players have hit the back of the net in Serie A this season, while Ranocchia bagged a goal in the Coppa Italia. The Nerazzurri's 18 different Serie A goalscorers equals a club record from the 2007/08 season, and Inter's last twelve goals at San Siro have also been scored by eleven different players. Ashley Young is the only player to have scored two goals at home in that period.

FROM SANCHEZ TO LAUTARO: THE PLAYERS INVOLVED IN THE GOALS He didn't score, but he did finish the match with two assists to his name. Alexis Sanchez was a central figure against Torino. The Chilean has now provided four assists in his last two starts in Serie A.

Lautaro Martínez scored his first goal in five games, but his contribution remained important throughout that dry spell. He has had a hand in four goals in his last five games as a starter in Serie A (two goals, two assists). He assisted Ashley Young against Torino and also scored to make it 3-1.

Ashley Young has contributed to five goals in ten appearances as a starter in Serie A (three goals, two assists).

MEETINGS WITH TORINO Inter have done the double over Torino for the first time since the 2007/08 season. The Nerazzurri won the reverse fixture 3-0 in Turin. Antonio Conte has won each of his six Serie A games against Torino as a coach, with a 13-1 aggregate scoreline. Only Fabio Capello, Massimiliano Allegri (both with eight vs. Empoli) and Simone Inzaghi (seven vs. Udinese) have coached teams to more victories over a single side while maintaining a 100% winning record.
