MILAN – Inter | QLASH will be in action in the first FIFA competition since the launch of the partnership between the club and EA Sports with two outstanding pro players set to do battle: Inter's Diego “Crazy Fat Gamer” Campagnani, who was the first Italian to become number one in the world at FIFA 20 this year, will face Carlos “CharlyHuman” Cejas, the eSuperliga Home champion in Argentina.
The match between Inter and San Lorenzo's eSports teams will be the first virtual meeting between the two clubs and the second overall, after the 1962 friendly in the Copa Ramon Carranza in Cadiz.
It will also be the first clash with European opposition for San Lorenzo's recently unveiled eSports side.
The best of 3 FIFA Ultimate Team battle will take place today, on Wednesday 19 August at 20:30 CEST (15:30 GMT-3) and will be broadcast live on Inter's social media channels. Match commentary will be available in three languages: in Italian on Inter TV, in English on YouTube and Facebook and in Spanish on YouTube and Twitter.
The fixture pitting Inter | QLASH against CASLA eSports is further proof of the strong link between the Nerazzurri and Argentina, the home country of many stars who have made and are making history for the club. Colombian defender Ivan Cordoba played for both clubs during his impressive career.
