Milan native Federico Dimarco, born on 10 November 1997, was seven years old when he pulled on an Inter shirt for the first time. Brought up in the Porta Romana area of the city, his first taste of football was around Calvairate before being called up into the Nerazzurri youth academy. From there he made the long journey up through Inter’s youth ranks to the Primavera team.

He made his first-team debut on 11 December 2014, replacing Danilo D'Ambrosio in the second half of Qarabag v Inter. Whilst playing with the Inter Primavera side he won the Viareggio Cup before making his first appearance in Serie A on 31 May 2015 coming on for Rodrigo Palacio in the closing stages of Inter’s 4-3 win over Empoli.

With a lethal left food and extremely skilled from set pieces, for the Primavera team he started out on the left wing, before moving further back over time. He had spells at Ascoli, Empoli, Sion and Parma, despite suffering some injuries which curtailed his progress, and returned to Inter in 2019.

He made four appearances before being loaned out to Hellas Verona, where he spent for a season and a half taking part in 50 games and scoring five goals.

He returned to Inter in the summer of 2021 and this season he's already racked up 24 appearances and two goals. He scored  his first goal for the club on 12 September when he guided a magnificent free kick into the top corner against Sampdoria.

Now with a new contract until 2026, Federico is set to write many more pages of his story with Inter.
