MILAN – 2021 was the year Inter won a 19th Scudetto, with the Nerazzurri's march to the title and images of the trophy being lifted on the last day of the season at San Siro firmly etched in the minds of all Interisti.
The new season saw the return of fans to the stadium and more joy as the team led by Simone Inzaghi's continued to win games scoring goals galore along the way.
2021 ends with Inter sitting top of the table on 46 points, with the best attack and second best defence. They have also reached the last 16 of the Champions League and have the Super Cup to play in January.
The Nerazzurri have already bagged 49 goals in Serie A this season, 104 in the calendar year – a club record – and 117 in all competitions.
