A look at some of the numbers from previous meetings ahead of Wednesday's showdown in Rome

MILAN – After beating Juventus in the Super Cup in January, Inter are set to lock horns with the Bianconeri once again in the Coppa Italia final on Wednesday. The 21:00 CEST kick-off at Rome's Stadio Olimpico will be officiated by Paolo Valeri.

The Nerazzurri are competing in their 14th Coppa Italia final, have won seven of their 13 previous finals.

THE ROUTE TO THE FINAL

Inter reached the final by overcoming Empoli, Roma and AC Milan in the last 16, quarter-finals and semi-finals respectively.

The Nerazzurri have kept clean sheets in four of their last five cup matches, including the last three.  Not since 2006/07 have they gone more games in the competition without conceding (six).

Inter are unbeaten in their last five Coppa Italia outings (W3, D2). The last time they did better was between 2009 and 2012 (W10, D2).

Inter 3-0 AC Milan – semi-final, return leg AC Milan 0-0 Inter – semi-final, first leg Inter 2-0 Roma – quarter-final Inter 3-2 Empoli (AET) – last 16

Juventus have won all four of their Coppa Italia matches this season without conceding any in their last two. The Bianconeri saw off Sampdoria, Sassuolo and then Fiorentina in the two-legged semi-final.

INTER FORM: SEVEN WINS AND A DEFEAT SINCE... JUVENTUS

Inter have won seven of their last eight matches in all competitions (one defeat), scoring an average of 2.4 goals per game. Prior to this run – which began with a 1-0 victory against Juventus in Serie A – the Nerazzurri had only won two of their previous nine fixtures (D5, L2). Since then Simone Inzaghi's side have beaten Verona and Spezia in the league, AC Milan in the cup, then Roma, Udinese and Empoli in Serie A, with defeat to Bologna the only blemish in that period

Inter have won their last two meetings with Juventus – as many as they won in 13 previous encounters (D4, L7).

The two sides have faced off twice in the Coppa Italia final (won by the Bianconeri in 1959 and 1965) and twice in the Italian Super Cup (Inter winning in 2005 and 2022).

The last Coppa Italia clash between Juventus and Inter ended 0-0 after the previous eight cup meetings all saw at least three goals (29 total, 3.6 per match). The Bianconeri have failed to score against Inter in two of their last three Coppa Italia games – as many as in the 12 prior to that.

ARGENTINE GOALS IN CUP FINALS AND OTHER STATS

Nine of Inter's last 13 goals in Coppa Italia finals have been scored by Argentine players: Esteban Cambiasso 1, Diego Milito 2, Hernan Crespo 3, Julio Cruz 3.

There have been more Coppa Italia meetings between Inter and Juventus than between any other teams: 33 before this final, with 15 Bianconeri wins, 10 Nerazzurri victories and eight draws. Five of their last 10 match-ups in this competition have ended as a draw (three Inter wins and two for Juventus).

Inter have completed 12 attacking moves involving at least 10 consecutive passes in this year's Coppa Italia – more than any other side since the last 16.

In that same period of time, the Nerazzurri have also won possession more times (274) than any other team.
