MILAN - Seven academy players have been called up to their respective national teams for upcoming friendly and competitive matches. Primavera pair Francesco Bolzoni and Andrea Mei
have been named in Francesco Rocca's Italy U19 squad for two friendly matches against Ukraine, on 31 October in Abano Laziale and 2 November at La Borghesiana. Another Primavera player, Hungarian striker Attila Filkor, has been called up to his country's Under-18 team for a European Championship qualifying tournament to take place from 22 October to 4 November.
Allievi Nazionali trio Luca Caldirola, Mattia Destro and Luca Moscatiello will join up with Antonio Rocca's Italy Under-16 squad for the international Val de Marne tournament in Paris, which runs from 28 October to 5 November. The Azzurri play France on 31 October, Portugal on 2 November and Switzerland on 4 November.
Andrea Bavena, who also plays for Inter's Allievi Nazionali team, has been named in Luca Gotti's Italy Under-17 team for a training camp in Coverciano from 29 October to 1 November.
