Cesar scores early goal for Nerazzurri who win triangular tournament. Adriano in excellent form

NAPLES - Inter followed up their 2-0 victory over Napoli with a 1-0 win against Juventus to lift the 2007 Birra Moretti Trophy with a maximum six points.

Brazilian left-back Cesar settled the mini 'derby d'Italia' with the lone goal on 2 minutes, latching on to Adriano's deflected pass and smashing past Belardi.

Luis Jimenez saw a right-foot shot from edge of box saved by the Juve keeper and Santiago Solari's shot dipped over the bar as Inter created early chances to increase their lead.

Juventus could have equalised through Marcelo Zalayeta on 15 minutes but Francesco Toldo pushed the Uruguayan's effort on to the post.

Toldo made a reflex save from Almiron's deflected shot, and twice thwarted Palladino as Juventus enjoyed the better chances of the second mini half.

Minutes from time, Adriano roused the San Paolo crowd with one of his left-foot specials, blocked by Belardi.
