Litteri, Pedrelli, Gerbo, Destro score as Nerazzurri secure place in knockout phase of championship

MILAN - Inter beat Vicenza 4-1 in the penultimate round of the regular season.

The result sees Vincenzo Esposito's team secure a place in the Campionato Primavera round of 16 with one match left to play.

The Nerazzurri broke the deadlock in the 50th minute when Gianluca Litteri converted Dennis Esposito's cross.

Daniele Pedrelli added a quick second after combining well with Litteri, and Alberto Gerbo made it 3-0 on 55 minutes with a cool finish from inside the box.

Mbida pulled one back for the visitors, firing past Belec after a 40-yard run to the edge of the area, but Mattia Destro restored Inter's three-goal advantage in the 65th minute, slotting into an open goal after rounding Vicenza keeper Pozzer.
