MILAN - Samuel Beretta and Denis Alibec scored in the first half, with Alan Stevanovic and Simone Dell'Agnello adding second-half braces as Inter's senior youth team romped to a 6-0 victory over Triestina in Week 12 of the Campionato Primavera at the Centro Sportivo Giacinto Facchetti.
With Mattia Destro out suspended for Saturday afternoon's clash, Fulvio Pea fielded a three-pronged attack with Stevanovic and Tremolada either side of Alibec, who dribbled the entire Triestina defence before setting up Beretta for the opening goal on nine minutes.
Romanian forward Alibec went from provider to scorer in the 37th minute, heading in Fortunato's right-wing cross to put the Nerazzurri in total control.
Inter were three-nil up five minutes after the restart when Swiss attacking midfielder Stevanovic converted an assist from Beretta. Pea brought on Dell'Agnello for Alibec in the 71st minute and the Italian striker replied with two goals in four minutes. Stevanovic completed the rout from the penalty spot five minutes from time.
The big win against Triestina sees Inter increase their tally of points to 21 ahead of Wednesday's clash against AC Milan.
