UNDER-17S REACH LAST 16 OF NATIONAL FINALS

Solini scores as Nerazzurri beat Genoa 1-0 at home to qualify for next round with 5-1 aggregate win

MILAN - Inter's Under-17 side saw off Genoa 1-0 in the return leg of their Campionato Allievi Nazionali last 32 tie to reach the last sixteen with a 5-1 aggregate victory.

Giorgio Gatti's Nerazzurri kept intact their three-goal cushion from the first leg and Matteo Solini put the tie firmly beyond the Rossoblu's reach on 59 minutes. De Sole played a short corner to Romanò who crossed into the box for Solini to score with a flicked header.

Inter will face Prato or Vicenza in the last 16. "It doesn't matter which team we get," Gatti told Inter Channel. "We played better in the first leg against Genoa, but to reach the final phase we need greater concentration. The team was too relaxed today."
