Striker looking for promotion with Lega Pro side after spells at Treviso, Slavia Prague and Vicenza

MILAN - Catania-born striker Gianluca Litteri, 22, has completed a loan move from Inter to ambitious Lega Pro 1st Division side Salernitana, whose immediate objective for the 2010/11 season is promotion to Serie B.

In his youth, Litteri played for Giarre and Inter's youth academy, going on to win the Primavera championship in 2006/07 and the Viareggio Cup in 2008. He trained with Inter's first team on various occasions before moving to Treviso on a co-ownership deal. He then spent a season abroad with Slavia Prague, with whom he won the Czech league in 2008/09, and last season with Vicenza in Serie B.
