MILAN - France Football has announced the list of 23 candidates for the 2010 Ballon d'Or award. The list includes Inter's Samuel Eto'o, Julio Cesar, Maicon and Wesley Sneijder, who will indirectly represent Italy as they are the only Serie A players nominated.
France Football and FIFA will reduce the list of 23 candidates to three on 6 December. The ceremony will take place in Zurich on 10 January, when the FIFA/FIFPro World XI, FIFA Puskas Award and FIFA Fair Play accolades will also be given.
