MILAN - This morning, as he arrived at his offices in the centre of Milan, the Nerazzurri president Massimo Moratti made some brief statements to waiting reporters.

Today Inter is celebrating its 103rd birthday, what present would you like from the team?
"It's just great as it is, thinking about Inter's history. The team are already giving me a present with their current attitude and I like the fact that the team can go ahead like this, keeping up the necessary character and dignity."
Adriano Galliani maintains that, in Inter's case, we can forget about the treble...
"I didn't hear that. I don't know what Galliani said. But when another team accomplishes something, people try to play it down, even though it's difficult to play down what Inter has done."
Would AC Milan being knocked out of the Champions League make life any easier in the title race?
"No, quite the contrary. It's always good to be challenging on different fronts, but to tell you the truth I've never put myself in AC Milan's shoes, so I wouldn't know."
On 31 March you have been summoned by Federal Prosecutor, Stefano Palazzi...
"With all due respect to Palazzi, who is rightly doing what he has to do, it is ridiculous that Inter, represented by me, should have to be called over this issue."
