The former defender, part of Helenio Herrera's Grande Inter side, dies aged 72. He played for the Nerazzurri for 4 seasons

MILAN - FC Internazionale have happy memories of former defender Giorgio Dellagiovanna -  part of Helenio Herrera's Grande Inter side - who has died aged 72.

Dellagiovanna, who was born in Milan on 10 July 1941, came through the Nerazzurri youth team, before making his debut for Inter on 27 September 1961 in a Fairs Cup match in Cologne. He wore the blue and black for four seasons (from 1961/62 to 1965/66), winning two league titles, two European Cups and two Intercontinental Cups.

He also played for Brescia, Potenza and Varese over the course of his career.
