MILAN - "We were very pleased and honoured to welcome these guests, as well as face off against the Inter Academy Japan team. It enabled us to appreciate the excellent technical level these lads are playing at," stated Roberto Samaden, director of Inter’s youth academy, regarding the initiative that brought 18 children and 3 coaches from Inter Academy Japan to Milan.
"It was an important experience for our players on both a technical as well as a human level. Getting to know other cultures is fundamental. That’s not only the case in football but also as regards personal growth.
"I have to congratulate Marco Monti, Massimo Ciocci and everyone else who works for Inter Academy Japan, since the excellent results on a technical level were clear. It's all thanks to the hard work being done there - everyone can see the quality."
