MILAN - A long day of negotiations have come to an end at FC Internazionale's headquarters in via Durini, Milan. Inter bought Lazio striker Hernan Crespo this morning. The Argentine striker has signed a four-year contract with the club, and will wear the number nine shirt. Contemporaneously, Inter sold striker Bernardo Corradi to Lazio.
Late Saturday evening, Inter sold Brazilian striker Ronaldo to Real Madrid. Nerazzurro president Massimo Moratti and coach Hector Cuper have expressed their satisfaction with the arrival of Crespo, who will be officially presented on Sunday 1 September in Milan.
