F.C. Internazionale today announced a multi-year sponsorship agreement for a package of naming rights to include the training centre at Appiano Gentile. Effective immediately, Inter’s first team training centre will now become known as The Suning Training Centre in memory of Angelo Moratti.
Also included as part of the package are the naming rights for the Club’s youth team training centre, commonly known as ‘Interello’, which will now be known as The Suning Youth Development Centre in memory of Giacinto Facchetti.
The final part of the agreement concerns the rights as the Official Training Apparel Partner for both the senior and youth (Primavera) teams. This package has been taken up by Suning.com a major on-line shopping portal in China.
In addition to the naming rights of both facilities, as the Official Training Grounds’ Naming Partner, Suning’s rights include; dominant brand visibility across all pitches including static pitch-side advertising boards at both of the training centres, prime logo position on main partner displays, and prime position on the background LED in the press room(s). Additional prominent positions will be developed as the Club looks to enhance each of the facilities.
As Official Training Apparel Partner, Suning.com will receive brand visibility on LEDs at all Inter home matches, secondary logo position on media backdrops and partner displays, plus the tunnel entrance hoarding at the San Siro. Included in the package are VIP hospitality and ticketing opportunities for Inter home matches, use of a global Brand Ambassador, and numerous match day sponsorship activation opportunities. Collectively, these rights will enable to Suning.com to strengthen its position as one of the world’s largest e-commerce platforms and provide strategic value as it looks to expand beyond China.
