RISCONE DI BRUNICO – Dario Baccin held a press conference at the Riscone di Brunico training centre on Monday afternoon to unveil new Nerazzurri signings Jens Odgaard and Nicolo Zaniolo.
"Both these players have great quality. They’re talented and represent great prospects," said Baccin. "Both were born in 1999 and both play for their respective national sides. Inter has been following them for some time and now we’ve finally been able to land them, despite fierce competition.
"These signings are testament to the club’s desire to keep improving. They will be in the Primavera squad and are enjoying a great opportunity in that they’re involved in the first-team training camp under Luciano Spalletti. We believe strongly in them and hope that one day – with the correct development plan – they will be regulars in the first-team squad."
Nicolo Zaniolo then took the floor.
"Wearing the Inter shirt is a huge opportunity," he said. "It’s what every kid dreams of. Right now I’m focusing on working hard every day to win a place in the Primavera team and then maybe even in the senior squad one day."
Danish forward Jens Odgaard also said a few words.
"Inter is a massive club," he began. "I’m honoured to be here. I think I’ve made the right choice – this is a big step forward for my career."
