MILAN - Just prior to our final league match, Inter vs. Empoli, representatives from the new Saint Petersburg Inter Academy spent two days in close contact with the team and the club hierarchy.
Ahead of kick-off, one that delivered Champions League football for the Nerazzurri, the Russian guests took part in an end-of-season event with the partners of FC Internazionale Milano at the terrazza Martini.
The second part of the day was dedicated to watching Inter vs. Empoli from the San Siro’s Ground Box. It was a unique and exciting sporting experience, also thanks to the passion of the 68,000 fans present at the Meazza.
To consecrate the start of this new and important organisation, as part of Inter Academy’s global development, was the signing of the contract. Those present at the Inter headquarters included Corporate CEO Alessandro Antonello and GM Evgenii Kibakin who was representing Venim LLC, together with Inter Academy management.
Technical activities, that will start at the end of August with the Inter Academy Camp, will precede the event to launch the Academy. This will be held the following month in Saint Petersburg in presence of the Inter ambassador, and with the start of Permanent Coaching activities.
The Saint Petersburg opening will expand Inter Academy’s confines even further, one that now boasts 17 permanent projects, more than 20,000 kids and 470 local coaches involved all around the world.
