MILAN - Inter were back to winning ways in Serie A Week 27 with an emphatic 3-1 victory over Udinese at the Giuseppe Meazza.

Julio Cruz put the Nerazzurrri on the road to victory with a first-half opener then doubled early in the second half before Obafemi Martins grabbed Inter's third.

The first real chance of the match fell to Vincenzo Iaquinta after ten minutes. The Italian international received in the area from Zenoni but misdirected his shot off target in a let-off for Inter.

Mancini's men were a goal to the good in the 18th minute when Cruz beat De Sanctis with a penalty awarded for a foul by the Udinese custodian on Martins.

The Argentine striker doubled three minutes after the break with a flicked header from David Pizarro's cross after De Sanctis pushed a Martins shot on to the post. Inspired against his former team Pizarro made Inter's third on 60 minutes, with Martins bundling over the line after De Sanctis failed to hold a fiercely struck free kick by the Chilean midfielder.

Inter were reduced to ten men on 67 minutes when Walter Samuel was red-carded for a two-footed tackle on Iaquinta. Mancini responded by bringing Materazzi on for Martins to protect the three-goal cushion, which Udinese reduced to two in the final stages when Iaquinta grabbed a consolation from the penalty spot before Zapata was dismissed for a second yellow card.
