Andrea Stramaccioni vs Andrea Mandorlini: Round 1

Tonight's game will be see Andrea Stramaccioni and Andrea Mandorlini meet in opposite dugouts for the first time.

Stramaccioni's first against Verona

Andrea Stramaccioni has never faced Hellas Verona in a competitive fixture during his coaching career.

Former Inter player Mandorlini beaten in only previous as coach against Inter

Andrea Mandorlini's only meeting with Inter as a coach came on 22 September 2004, when his Atalanta side lost 2-3 in Bergamo. During his playing career, Mandorlini pulled on an Inter shirt 274 times in competitive fixtures between 1984/85 and 1990/91, scoring 13 goals. The honours won during his time at the club include a Serie A title (1988/89), a UEFA Cup (1990/91) and an Italian Super Cup (1989).

Inter's 10-year unbeaten run in Coppa Italia at San Siro

Inter have not lost a home game in the domestic cup competition since 12 December 2002, when Bari edged a last-16 return leg 1-2. The Nerazzurri have entertained teams at the Meazza in this competition on 27 occasions since then, with 21 wins and 6 draws.

8 home games for Inter without defeat; two years since last 9-match positive streak

The last time Inter lost a competitive home match was on 23 September: 0-2 against Siena. Stramaccioni's men have since gone on an 8-game unbeaten run, with 6 wins and 2 draws (both 2-2). If they were to avoid defeat again tonight, it would become their longest period without losing in San Siro since November 2010 - February 2011, when they put together a 9-match winning streak.

No goals for Verona against Inter in 317 minutes home and away, 327 in Milan

Verona last put a goal past Inter on 5 November 2000 when a Serie A meeting at the Stadio Bentegodi finished 2-2. Italiano netted the hosts' second in the 43rd minute. The Veneto outfit have failed to score against the Nerazzuri in 317 minutes since then: the remaining 47 of that game and the following three Serie A encounters, all won by Inter (2-0 at home in 2000/01 and two 3-0 victories in 2001/02). Verona haven't scored against the Nerazzurri at the Meazza since 23 March 1997, a 2-1 victory for Inter in Serie A. Maniero hit the net for the visitors on that day in the 33rd minute. Since then Verona have drawn a 327-minute blank away from home against Inter - 57 minutes in that match plus the next three league clashes in Milan (3-0 in 1999/00, 2-0 in 2000/01 and 3-0 in 2001/02).
