Inter Japan Tour, review
Inter Japan Tour
— Aug 7th 2023Let’s take a look back at the team’s trip to Japan, with friendlies and events for fans and partners
Inter landed back in Italy on Wednesday 2 August, ending their Tour to Japan that saw the Nerazzurri leave Milano on 23 July. It was the Club’s third visit to the Land of the Rising Sun as the Nerazzurri played two prestigious international friendlies; Inter drew 1-1 with Al-Nassr in Osaka on 27 July before recording a 2-1 win over Paris Saint-Germain in Tokyo on 1 August.
The trip to Japan wasn’t all football, though. While the team trained hard ahead of the coming season, we held a vast array of events in the country to activate the local fanbase and more. The series of prestigious occasions was organised to boost the Inter brand and that of the Club’s partners in Japan and also involve local fans Inter Club and Academy members. Nerazzurri legends Marco Materazzi and Fabio Galante also accompanied the team on their Tour.
The Nerazzurri hosted a special evening with Nike at the KAMO Store in Osaka, where three players and one of the legends attended alongside Nike. An Inter delegation held a talk at the prestigious Technos College in Fuchu, which specialises in highly educational and vocational degree-level courses. The team’s training sessions included special moments for our Partners’ guests and some Inter Club members, who participated in an exclusive Meet&Greet with the players.
The kids at Inter Academy Japan took part in an educational training session with Marco Materazzi, Fabio Galante and Mana Mihashi.
Alessandro Bastoni, Federico Dimarco and Davide Frattesi visited the Esports Studio at the KONAMI HQ in Tokyo for a Nerazzurri-coloured event that further bolstered the partnership between the Club and its Global Football Videogame Partner. Inter and Moncler also teamed up at the Moncler Shibuya pop-up Boutique in the Japanese capital for an incredible evening, which saw the involvement of both parties’ Top Management, business associate guests, influencers, Nerazzurri Legends and six First Team players. The event, which celebrated the bond between the two brands and boosted B2B relations, was also a chance to strengthen the synergy between Inter and Moncler.
Finally, Inter and the Club’s President Steven Zhang bid a fond farewell to Tokyo and turned the famous Shibuya Crossing black and blue with a campaign that brought the Club’s content and colours to the big screens.
