Pandev and goals against Amelia

Of his 68 goals in Italian competitions, Goran Pandev has scored six against Genoa's Marco Amelia - more than any other goalkeeper.

Fifteen Rossoblu on target

Fifteen Genoa players have scored goals in the Serie A championship this season. In alphabetical order, they are: Acquafresca, Biava, Crespo, Criscito, Floccari, Kharja, Mesto, Milanetto, Moretti, Palacio, Palladino, Rossi, Sculli, Suazo and Zapater. The only other two teams with as many scorers after 26 rounds of matches are Juventus and Roma.

Inter unbeaten in 16 games

Inter's last defeat was a 2-1 Serie A loss to Juventus in Turin on 5 December 2009. The Nerazzurri have since played 16 games, winning 11 and drawing 5.

No home defeat since November 2008

Inter haven't lost at home since their 1-0 Champions League defeat to Panathinaikos on 26 November 2008. In their successive 37 home games, the José Mourinho's side have won 27 and drawn 10.

Three clean sheets since Siena win

Inter last let in a home goal in Serie A in the 4-3 victory over Siena on 9 January 2010. Maccarone scored for the Tuscan Bianconeri in the 65th minute of that match. Inter have since played three league matches at home, beating AC Milan (2-0) and Cagliari (3-0), and drawing with Sampdoria (0-0).

One Genoa win in last 14 away games

Genoa have won only one of their last 14 away matches (a 3-1 win at Bologna on 4 October 2009), drawing 3 (all 0-0) and losing 10 of the other thirteen.

Amelia set for 200th Serie A appearance

If he plays against Inter in Week 27, Genoa goalkeeper Marco Amelia will complete a double century of Serie A appearances. Amelia, who has played top-flight football for Lecce, Livorno, Palermo and Genoa, made his Serie A debut in Lazio 4-1 Lecce on 31 August 2003.

MILAN - There was no repeat of last October's 5-0 win at the Luigi Ferraris as Genoa held Inter to their third 0-0 draw in four Serie A games.

Keen to avoid a similar drubbing in the return fixture, the visitors matched the Nerazzurri blow for blow in an evenly-balanced first half that saw few shots on goal.

Julio Cesar was severely tested by Mesto in the early stages, and again by Sculli in time added on. Inter's best chance of the opening forty-five fell to Stankovic, whose crisp 20-yard drive was saved by Amelia.

Struggling to gain the upper hand, Inter reorganised in the second half with holding midfielders Muntari and Stankovic making way for Cordoba and Quaresma, and Eto'o replacing Pandev.

Zanetti, the only recognisable defensive midfielder on the pitch, switched from full-back to the centre of the park and Inter, top-heavy in attack, slipped through the gears.

Genoa were pinned back for much of the second half as Inter created plenty of chances coming forward. Balotelli had a shot saved and Milito fired wide from tight angles on both wings, with Sneijder narrowly missing from a free kick and Samuel nodding wide from a corner.

In the closing stages Milito thought he was through on goal from Eto'o's well-timed pass, but mysteriously the flag went up for offside with the replay showing El Principe to be in an onside position.
