Inter finished the league campaign with a comeback draw away to Bologna on Matchday 38 of Serie A: an afternoon full of goals at Stadio Renato Dall'Ara, with the Nerazzurri taking the lead thanks to a superb free kick from Federico Dimarco. The Rossoblù responded and went two goals ahead through strikes from Federico Bernardeschi and Tommaso Pobega, along with an unfortunate own goal by Piotr Zieliński. In the second half, however, Cristian Chivu’s side mounted a comeback thanks to the major impact of Andy Diouf, who first set up the goal for Francesco Pio Esposito and then made it 3-3 with his first-ever Serie A goal.
