Amari’s dream made possible by Inter and Fondazione Telethon
Amari is seven years old, comes from Trinidad and was born with a rare genetic condition. He is currently undergoing treatment in Milano, where he is receiving a gene therapy developed by researchers at Fondazione Telethon. Fulfilling a promise made thousands of miles away, Inter and Telethon made it possible for Amari and his family to enjoy an unforgettable evening at San Siro.
The experience began with a Walk About through the dressing rooms and pitchside areas before reaching its most emotional moment: accompanying captain Lautaro Martínez onto the pitch. To round off the evening, Amari and his family enjoyed a special Meet & Greet with the entire team.
By their side was Federico, the Fondazione Telethon nurse who supports Amari throughout his treatment journey. A devoted Nerazzurri fan, Federico played a key role in passing on his passion for Inter to the young supporter. For all of them, it was a night that brought an extraordinary story full circle.
