The Inter Primavera were sent out of the Coppa Italia by AC Milan in the quarter-final fixture after a dramatic game. The Rossoneri went ahead in the 31st minute with an unfortunate own goal from Cocchi but the Nerazzurri got back in it straight away through Mosconi in the 44th minute, doing well to capitalise on a great cross from Aidoo. In the second half, Inter turned the result around in the 57th minute through Berenbruch but Milan made it 2-2 in the 68th minute with a shot from Liberali on the edge of the box. The 90 minutes were not enough and the Rossoneri ran out 6-4 winners on penalties, ruining the Nerazzurri dreams.
