Inter U23 were knocked out of the Coppa Italia Serie C round of 16 after losing 3-2 to Renate at the U-Power Stadium.
The Nerazzurri took the lead twice through Lavelli and Zuberek, but were pegged back in the closing stages by Rossi's penalty and then surpassed in the 93rd minute by Auriletto. It was a generous performance but a bitter end for Mr Vecchi's team, who bid farewell to the competition.
