Arrigoni's golden November

According to the statistics, Daniele Arrigoni's sides do better in November than any other month (exlcuding June, in which they have played just one match). His teams have managed 12 wins, 8 draws and 7 defeats in November (a points per match average of 1.62).

No Sardinian goal for 239'

Zola's 39th-minute goal in Roma 5-1 Cagliari on 31 October 2004 was the Sardinians' last in the league. Since then, the remaining 59 minutes of that game and the enitre matches against Livorno and Sampdoria have passed.

No goal against Cagliari for 180'

Cagliari haven't let in a single goal in their last two Serie A matches against Livorno and Sampdoria. Montella was the last player to score against the Sardinians (in the 90th minute of Roma 5-1 Cagliari on 31 October).

Cagliari and penalties conceded

Along with Sampdoria, Cagliari have had more spot kicks given against them than any other 2004/05 Serie A team (3 penalties).

100 Inter appearances for Emre

If he plays against Cagliari, Turkish midfielder Emre Belozolgu will celebrate a century of appearances for Inter. So far, Emre has played 67 matches in the Serie A, 4 in the Italian Cup and 28 in European cup competitions. He made his Inter debut in the 4-1 Serie A win at home to Perugia on 26 August 2001.

Inter stretch unbeaten run

No penalty for or against Inter since May

Inter are the only side playing the 2004/05 Serie A championship that still haven't had a penalty given either in their favour or against them. The Nerazzurri's last championship spot kick was on 2 May when Adriano scored against Lecce, while the last penalty given against Inter was on 7 March when Totti converted for Roma.

Eight different Nerazzurri on target

In alphabetical order, Adriano, Cambiasso, Martins, Mihajlovic, Recoba, Stankovic, Veron and Vieri have netted in the league this season. AC Milan, Lazio and Udinese have also scored with eight different players.

CAGLIARI - Inter snatched a point from Sunday's Serie A Week 12 match away to Cagliari thanks to two stunning second-half strikes from Nigerian striker Obafemi Martins.

The islanders took a 6th-minute lead at the Sant'Elia Stadium when veteran playmaker Gianfranco Zola converted the first penalty given against the Nerazzurri this season after Materazzi brought down Langella in the box.

Cagliari went into a shock 2-0 lead just after the half hour when Langella beat the offside trap, controlled with his knee then raced past Burdisso before scoring with a diagonal shot which Toldo managed to get a hand to, but couldn't stop from going over the line.

Stankovic reduced the deficit before the break, smashing Javier Zanetti's cut-back into the roof of the net to notch his sixth goal of the season.

Arrigoni's men built on their lead 16 minutes into the second half when Langella dribbled Materazzi on the right flank then crossed to the far post where Esposito headed home.

Obafemi Martins salvaged a point for Inter with two sensational strikes - his fifth and sixth of the season - in the final quarter of an hour. On 76 minutes the Nigerian received from Stankovic on the edge of the Cagliari box, turned then sent his left-foot shot into the top left-hand corner. Then a minute from time he brought the sides level with sweet strike from an almost identical position, this time on his right foot, which took a slight deflection off an opponent.

Inter's next match is the Tim Cup round of sixteen first leg at home to Bologna on Sunday 21 November.
