Inter and Moncler met in Tokyo

Inter and Moncler met in Tokyo for an evening event held as part of the Inter Japan Tour. It was an event that celebrated the partnership of two iconic brands that fundamentally link the worlds of football performance and fashion with the aim of always exploring new scenes and speaking to global communities. In the exclusive location of the Moncler Shibuya pop-up Boutique in the heart of Tokyo, the two brands came together for an extraordinary evening, involving respective representatives from the Top Management. Starting with the President of FC Internazionale Milano Steven Zhang and Mr Hiro Tamura, the President of Moncler Japan; the Nerazzurro Corporate CEO, Alessandro Antonello and the Inter Chief Revenue Officer Luca Danovaro; corporate guests and influencers; Nerazzurro legends Marco Materazzi and Fabio Galante, together with six players from the First Team: Francesco Acerbi, Joaquin Correa, Matteo Darmian, Denzel Dumfries, Robin Gosens and Henrikh Mkhitaryan, who were the stars of an exciting and entertaining Q&A with the guests present.

The event, which celebrated a unique moment to enhance the collaboration between the two brands and foster B2B relations, was also an opportunity to consolidate the partnership between Inter and Moncler during the Inter Japan Tour. FC Internazionale Milano's Corporate CEO, Alessandro Antonello underlined this as he presented Mr Hiro Tamura, President of Moncler Japan, with the new Nerazzurri home jersey:

70th anniversary of Moncler

Two iconic brands, a pitch-perfect match, both based in the city of Milan. Shared values, a passion for design, innovation, culture, global communities: Inter and Moncler, who have been partners since the latter became the Club's Official Formal Wear Partner in 2021, are celebrating the fashion house's 70th anniversary together. To mark the occasion, the brand is presenting a limited-edition Inter jacket, as well as a collection that proposes a winning line-up of dynamic styles for off the pitch, including a jacket, parka, turtleneck, polo shirt, hat and scarf.

Inter and Moncler's project once again highlights the link between the worlds of football and fashion, showcasing the Nerazzurri colours in the process: the quilted, down-filled jacket, which was designed by Moncler’s Chairman and CEO Remo Ruffini, is modelled by Matilde Gioli, an Italian actress and big Inter fan. A passion displayed with pride.

CHARACTERISTICS

Designed by Moncler’s Chairman and CEO Remo Ruffini, the quilted, down-filled jacket is crafted in the football team’s signature blue. An elevated sense of athletic style is evident in the subtle contrast of matt and mid-shine longue saison nylon textures and the classic, yet casual silhouette. The limited-edition jacket also sports an exclusive collaboration logo on the chest.

THE COLLECTION

The Inter X Moncler by Remo Ruffini jacket, as well as a limited-edition scarf, will be available in Europe on Moncler.com. The wider collection will be available in Europe, the UK and the US on Moncler.com, in China on Tmall, and in the Moncler Milano Galleria boutique from 10 November.

70 YEARS OF MONCLER

The collaboration forms part of Moncler’s 70-day-long birthday celebrations, which kicked off with a Milan Fashion Week show at the iconic Piazza del Duomo in September. At the same time, it consolidates Inter's relevance in the world of fashion and lifestyle and celebrates the global journey of expansion of the Nerazzurri brand.

Inter x Moncler is a celebration of excellence and the fusion of football and fashion.

INTER X MONCLER AT SAN SIRO

After the launch of the Inter X Moncler collection in the second year of collaboration between the Nerazzurri and the fashion brand, which is the Club’s Official Formal Wear Partner, Inter vs. Bologna provided the perfect opportunity to celebrate Moncler’s 70th anniversary.

Nerazzurri President Steven Zhang provided a warm welcome to Moncler Chairman and CEO Remo Ruffini. After a light show that entertained the fans present at San Siro and celebrated the collaboration between Inter and Moncler, the Inter President and Moncler Chairman experienced the pre-match build-up in the Club I M room alongside other guests and influencers. Then, they watched Inzaghi’s side win.

The lens of Paolo Pellegrin, one of the most important and recognised photographers in the world, accompanied the Nerazzurri from Appiano Gentile to San Siro on the occasion of Inter-Bologna, the match that celebrated Moncler's 70th anniversary with an impressive victory. The iconic shots show from a special perspective the moments before kick-off, capturing details and emotions and creating an authentic story about the Nerazzurri. For this occasion, the First Team players wore the exclusive limited edition jacket designed by Remo Ruffini launched in celebration of the 70th anniversary of the historic fashion brand and the pieces from the Inter x Moncler capsule collection, the centrepiece of the incredible evening at San Siro.
