MILAN – Inter face Atalanta for the 112th time in the top flight tomorrow afternoon. In collaboration with Opta, here are all the key stats on the encounter. 

Inter are ahead on the form book with 60 wins to 23, with 28 draws. The Nerazzurri has found the net in their last nine league fixtures against the Bergamo side. 

Atalanta have lost away to Inter more often than any other Serie A club (38 times), winning on nine occasions and drawing eight out of all their trips to San Siro so far. Atalanta on 26 and Inter on 28 are the third- and fourth-best defences in the league respectively.

Inter are the kings of crosses this season, whipping in 693 into the danger zone, 126 more than their nearest challengers in Europe's top five leagues. The Nerazzurri also score more than any other club in the final quarter of an hour (15 strikes).

Mauro Icardi has had a direct hand in 25 goals this campaign (17 goals, eight assists). The Argentine is joint top with Andrea Belotti. 

Against Cagliari, Ivan Perisic notched his second brace in Serie A. The Croatian now has nine goals from 25 appearances, two more than his overall haul from last year after 34 matches.

Ever Banega has started four fixtures since December, scoring and assisting goals in the same match on two occasions. 

Roberto Gagliardini, who got his first Serie A goal for Inter against Cagliari, developed at the Bergamo youth academy before going on to make 14 appearances for the senior squad. The Nerazzurri then came in for him during the last January transfer window. Atalanta coach Gian Piero Gasperini also had a stint in charge of Inter.
