Francesco Molinari stars in Welcome To

MILAN - “Welcome To” is back. It’s time for another episode of the Inter Media House format which explores Italy’s standout features in the company of leading figures from the world of sport, cuisine, design and the arts.

Episode five looks at sport with a world-class golfer: Francesco ‘Chicco’ Molinari, the first Italian to win a Major when he landed the Open Championship in 2018 and fresh off the back of his win at the Arnold Palmer Invitational in Orlando. Molinari is now based in London but remains a keen Nerazzurri fan.

Patrick Kendrick met him at the Wisley Golf Club to talk about Milan, sport, golf and the Nerazzurri: "As an Inter fan, I have fantastic memories of 2010, which was an incredible season: a run of success which is very hard to achieve in modern sport”.

“Welcome to Sport” provides a fascinating insight into golf exploring the sights and sounds synonymous with the game: from tee to green and a clutch putt under pressure.
