FC Internazionale Milano congratulates the Italian National Olympic Committee for the fantastic achievement


MILAN - A historic day for the future of Italy as a whole. The 2026 Winter Olympics will be hosted by Italy in Milan and Cortina d'Ampezzo. 

In Lausanne, the International Olympic Committee assigned the 2026 Games to the joint-bid from Milan and Cortina ahead of the Swedish bid from Stockholm-Åre.

It promises to be an exciting event and momentous occasion for the city of Milan, which will host the opening ceremony. FC Internazionale Milano congratulates the Italian National Olympic Committee for their achievement. The 2026 Winter Olympic Games will be a unique opportunity, an event that represents the most noble of sporting values in addition to being a great occasion for Milan, Cortina and all of Italian sport.
