A vital 2-0 win in 2010 at San Siro that came about thanks to goals from the Brazilian and Samuel Eto'o

MILAN - Every win matters, but you don’t forgot those against Juventus easily and they live long in the memory of every fan.

In the 2009-10 season, Inter were doing big things on all fronts but went into the Juventus game a bit tired and second in the table after losing the direct match-up against title rivals Roma. The side had to win to stay on path for the treble dream.

After a goalless first half with Juventus down to ten men, José Mourinho who is in charge of his 100th match for the Nerazzurri, brought Dejan Stankovic and Mario Balotelli on with the task of creating more issues in the opponents’ box. Changes that helped Inter to apply more pressure.

The siege on goal concluded with one of the best goals in Inter history. A true work of art, combining skill and power. It was Douglas Maicon who picked up the ball, flicked it up to himself to get around Amauri before controlling it and unleashing a volley beyond Buffon. It was a truly stunning goal before the second when Muntari mishit a shot which found Eto’o and he secured a 2-0 win that was of vital importance in the historic treble of 2010.
