The defender to Inter TV: "Now for the Derby, we need to give everything"

UDINE – With Samir Handanovic on the bench due to injury, Milan Skriniar took to the pitch in Udine wearing the captain’s armband. The Slovakian defender spoke about his feelings in his post-match interview with Inter TV: “I felt great pride wearing the captain’s armband tonight. Inter are my team, I always give my all for these colours. It obviously doesn’t change things out on the pitch, but it was great.

“We knew that it wouldn’t be easy against Udinese. The pitch was heavy and we didn’t really get going in the first half. However, we did better after the restart and managed to score. In the first 45 minutes, we got caught on the break too many times.”

On Sunday, it’s the Derby: “A difficult match awaits. We need to prepare well, we have everything at our disposal to win but need to give everything in order to do so.”
