Post-match facts and figures following our 3-2 defeat of Napoli

Sunday's win over Napoli takes Inter up to 28 points in the Serie A table after 13 matches, reducing the gap with Napoli and AC Milan at the top to four points after the Rossoneri lost to Fiorentina on Saturday.

The Nerazzurri's 3-2 victory is even more impressive if you look at Napoli's stats from their first 12 games. Before visiting San Siro Luciano Spalletti's men hadn't lost a single game (they were unbeaten in the league since April) and had conceded just three goals all season. Simone Inzaghi's side scored three in 90 minutes, racking up 17 shots on David Ospina's goal in the process.

LAUTARO BACK AMONG THE GOALS: NAPOLI HIS FAVOURITE TARGET

Lautaro Martinez hadn't scored since 2 October: a penalty in our away win at Sassuolo. After 336 minutes without finding the net, he clinically picking his spot in the second half against Napoli to put us 3-1 up. He then celebrated in front of the Curva Nord, 'apologising' for missing a penalty in the derby.

El Toro's goal tally against Napoli in Serie A now stands at four, making them the opposition he has plundered most goals against in the top flight.

Joaquin Correa was the provider of the assist for Lautaro – Inter's first Serie A goal both scored and set up by Argentine players since March 2017 (Ever Banega for Mauro Icardi).

CALHANOGLU: GOAL, ASSIST AND RECORD START

A goal against Genoa on his Nerazzurri debut, then a penalty in the Milan derby, now another spot kick to help us beat Napoli. Not content, Hakan Calhanoglu added to his most recent effort by putting a corner kick onto Ivan Perisic's head for our second of the night. Hakan is on fire!

Sunday was the tenth time the Turkish star has both scored and assisted a goal in the same Serie A game since coming to Italy (2017/18) – a feat bettered only by Ciro Immobile, Fabio Quagliarella, Lorenzo Insigne and Duvan Zapata in that time.

Inter v Napoli was the third time this season that Calhanoglu has set up a goal from the corner flag, after crossing for Milan Skriniar (against Genoa) and Edin Dzeko (Fiorentina). No player in Serie A has more assists from set-pieces this season (Genoa's Nicolo Rovella also has three).

Three goals in the first 13 Serie A matches also make this season the Turk's most prolific start to a campaign.

Calhanoglu's penalty conversion against Napoli takes his record to four out of four in Serie A.

PERISIC THE TOP CROATIAN MARKSMAN IN SERIE A

Ivan Perisic meanwhile notched his 44th goal in the Italian top flight, making him the highest-scoring Croatian player in Serie A – level with former Palermo striker Igor Budan.

The Nerazzurri No.14's finish on the stroke of half time was Inter's ninth headed goal in the league this term – more than any other Serie A team.
